Return, Refund & Exchange Policy – House of Jainam

 

At House of Jainam, we strive to provide high-quality sarees and a delightful shopping experience. Each saree is carefully curated and quality-checked before dispatch. However, if you face any issue with your order, our return and exchange policy is designed to be transparent and fair.


1. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged

  • There is a manufacturing defect

  • The wrong product was delivered

To request a return, you must raise a request within 48 hours of delivery.

Required Details

Please share the following:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Mandatory unboxing video (starting from the sealed package until opening)

Requests without an unboxing video may not be accepted.


2. How to Raise a Return Request

You can raise a return request by:

Requests through Instagram, WhatsApp, or phone calls will not be considered valid for return processing.


3. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are allowed only under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged

  • The product has a manufacturing defect

  • The wrong saree was delivered

Exchange Conditions

  • Exchange request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery

  • The saree must be unused, unwashed, and with original tags and packaging

  • Exchange will be processed only for the same product, subject to availability

If the same product is not available, we may offer store credit or refund as applicable.


4. Saree Size & Fit Policy

Since sarees are free-size garments, returns or exchanges are not accepted for size or fitting issues.


5. Saree with Fall / Pico / Stitching

If the saree has been customized with:

  • Pico

  • Fall stitching

  • Any other alteration

Then the product becomes non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless there is a major defect or wrong product delivered.


6. Sale / Discounted Sarees

All sale or discounted sarees are final sale.

  • No return

  • No exchange

  • No refund


7. Beads, Sequins & Handwork Disclaimer

Sarees with hand embroidery, beads, sequins, or delicate work may experience minor loosening during handling or shipping. This is normal for handcrafted garments.

Small issues can usually be fixed easily by a local tailor.

Returns or refunds are not accepted for minor bead or thread issues.


8. Color Variation Disclaimer

Due to lighting, photography, and screen settings, there may be 10–15% color variation between the product image and the actual saree.

This will not be considered a valid reason for return or exchange.


9. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only in the following cases:

  • Product received in damaged condition

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Wrong product delivered

Refund Timeline

  • 5–7 working days for return verification

  • 2–3 working days for payment processing

📌 Total expected refund time: 7–10 working days

COD charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.


10. Return Shipping

  • If the return is approved, customers may be required to ship the product back to our warehouse.

  • The saree must be properly packed in its original packaging.

Return shipping charges may apply depending on the case.


11. Important Notes

  • Sarees must be unused, unwashed, and with original tags to be eligible for return or exchange.

  • Products that appear used, washed, or damaged after delivery will not be accepted.

  • House of Jainam reserves the right to refuse returns if the policy conditions are not met.
